Located on a tidal river in midcoast Maine, The Osprey Nest is a classic Maine camp turned
family run bed and breakfast. We only book one party per stay... so, whether you are a couple,
a family or a group of friends... when you are here, the whole space is yours. Situated nearby the
towns of Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor, you are never far from the classic
midcoast must see spots and wonderful local restaurants... but you do feel a world away.
Our guest accomodations are perched right on the river's edge.

The Cottage and The Cabin are our guest sleeping quarters.

The Boat Barn houses a kitchen, living room and dining area.

The Bath House has a beautiful tiled shower plus a sink and toilet.

As stated above, we book one party per stay so it truly is all yours. Our hope is that you fully enjoy your own space... down by the river.

The Cottage
The Cottage sits right on the river and was the main building in the original camp. It was brought by river as a Boat House and later converted into a one room cottage. It is now a charming one bedroom with a spacious sitting room area, a comfortable queen sized bed, a dressing room and a private ½ bath.
2 adult maximum
Towels, shampoo, soap and hair dryer are all provided in the Bath House. First aid kit, bug lotion, flashlight are also available on the premises.
Water, tea and coffee are available for self-service in the Boat Barn at all times.
The Cabin
The Cabin (also known as the Chalet) is said to have been brought to the property by being pulled over the frozen river from Wiscasset in the 1940's to the spot where it sits today. This classic cabin has two twin sized beds plus a sitting area. It is located next to the Bath House which houses a 3/4 bath (containing toilet, sink, and shower).
2 adult maximum
